Are you living in the EU and confused about how Brexit affects the way you shop with Ricambio? Don’t be, there are some small changes but rest assured our team is here to help.
The good news is that UK VAT at 20% will no longer be applied to your purchase and parts which originate in the UK / EU (99% of parts we supply) can claim preferential rates of duty at 0% meaning there is no import duty to pay either!
The only additional charges you’ll pay is your country’s VAT.
Please don’t worry, this is very simple and all handled by the courier delivering your goods and EU business with a valid VAT number will be able to claim this back.
Other than the VAT (and potentially a small handling charge charged by the courier - click the link at the bottom of the email for further details) there should be no other taxes to pay. Import duty is covered by the preferential rate at 0% so this will not be charged.
If you are purchasing from outside of the EU then carry on as usual, nothing has changed so there’s nothing to worry about.
In & After these difficult times we have decided to close our physical shop to the general public until further notice and we ask you please to respect this and not to visit us for the time being. If you would like to collect any parts then you can do this but you would need to purchase the items online first and we will then contact you to confirm and arrange a secure collection. All other website orders will be shipped out as normal and we have new stocks arriving from Italy daily. Our number one priority is for our employees and clients so we will continue to work remotely to support you and answer any questions. We would like to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to better times ahead for everyone. Take care of yourselves and loved ones
